Alise Tran is an aspiring lighting designer with experience in theatre, musical theater, concert, and event lighting. She is a lead designer within her high school theater company and has designed for several theater production including LASA’s production of Hadestown: Teen Edition which was nominated for Best Lighting Design.

Alise first joined theater in the her junior year of high school as an actor. However, she soon switched to theater tech and fell in love with lighting. She started as board operator for LASA’s production of Les Miserables. Since then she has worked as Head of Lighting on LASA’s All in the Timing and Dracula O-. Outside of theatre, Alise has set and run lights for events including service at her home church, Hope Chapel, LASA’s 2024 fashion showcase, and LASA’s Chinese New Year celebrations.
