Dracula O-
I worked as Head of Lighting for LASA’s student written production of Dracula O-. As an original production, I was given free rein by the writer to set the tone of the show as I pleased. I decided to embrace the gothic setting of the story by implementing deep reds, stormy blues, and grim lighting while also adding to the conspicuous elements to emphasize the slapstick and nonsensical humor of the show (such as a French flag to mark the entrance of French Jacobins in a British gothic tale or a sudden spotlight to captures the blatant stealing of blood).
